Christopher Wleh Toe, I. is a theologian and peace and conflict studies practitioner working with the National Civil Society Council of Liberia as Secretary General/Head of Secretariat. Obtained graduate and undergraduate studies at SIT Graduate School in Vermont, USA, and United Methodist University (Liberia) and earned other advanced certificates in studies in Enhancement of Governance in Peace Building Studies, Hiroshima University, Reconciliation and Peace Building, GlennCree Center for Reconciliation, Corporate Governance, West Africa Civil Society Institute, Ghana; Conflict Resolution and Management Skills, Religion for Peace, Sierra Leone; and other social and academic certificates of achievements. He has over 25 years of working experience in academic, religious and social disciplines. An advocate for justice and human rights that provided services on national and international boards such as: Mano River Union Peace Forum, Interfaith Action for Peace in Africa, West Africa Inter-religious Coordinating Committee and served as local consultant in the drafting of national policies that included: reconciliation roadmap of Liberia, vision 2024 and 2030, national disaster management policies, constitution review process, and several legislative acts and made publications on issues of national concern, presented papers on peace, reconciliation and role of civil society in governance processes.
